The sixpence is set on a printed card in side a 2"x 2" P.V.C collecting pouch. The pouch has peelable adhesive on the reverse so it can be attached. Usually inside a Birthday card as a really nice surprise extra gift !!! The sixpence has been regarded as Lucky for Centuries. So much so that in 1967 when we went over to the pretend money ! At times of Marriage for example it was customary for the Lord of the Manor to give the Bride from the Estate a SILVER present. This became the traditional custom of giving the Bride a SILVER sixpence for her Slipper to wear on her Wedding Day . Low start and low post and package. The buyer will receive this coin or one in similar condition. I try and scan an average coin with normal wear for the year. All coins will have clear text, date and no obvious damage.
