The latest addition to the Aurora family, the LT-FW allows up to 32 input and output channels via a single FireWire cable from Aurora converters. Lynx is now offering the Aurora 8 with the LT-FW installed called the Aurora 8/FW.

Simply order the Aurora 8/FW when you place your next order. Lynx will install and test the LT-FW in the Aurora 8 and ship it together in the same box. Please note that if the units are ordered separately, the standard higher prices will be used. This offer does not extend to the Aurora 16.

Standard retail pricing on the Aurora 8 with LT-FW is $2790. The Promo Price for Aurora 8/FW is $2295, a savings of $495 - almost 20%.

Aurora 8

The new Aurora™ line of digital audio converters from Lynx Studio Technology offers unprecedented audio quality and control in single-rack space eight and sixteen channel models. The Aurora 8™ and Aurora 16™ feature 192 kHz analog to digital and digital to analog conversion with front panel control of all routing and sample rate options. Extended functions in Aurora are accessible via computer with the Lynx AES16 or by infrared using compatible laptops and handheld Pocket PCs. The rear panel has Clock and MIDI In and Out connectors and an LSlot bay, for the optional use of ADAT, Firewire and other audio interfaces.

LT-FW

The LT-FW is a FireWire LSlot interface for the Lynx Aurora 8 and Aurora 16 A/D D/A converters. LT-FW equipped Aurora models may be interfaced to and controlled by computers with FireWire connectivity, including portable computers from Apple and PC manufacturers. LT-FW is a FireWire 400 interface that allows up to 32 channels of analog and digital input and output at sample rates up to 96 kHz. At 192 kHz the user can access 16 channels of analog and digital I/O.
