Grover Whalen commissioned Howard Hughes to deliver invitations to the nations of the world during Hughes’ famous flight around the globe even convincing the pilot to paint the Trylon and Perisphere on the side of the plane. This picture was taken from the Desert Inn, Las Vegas NV. Howard hughes rented the top floor of the DI. This picture came from his collection. This picture measures 8x10.
