SINCE THIS KNIFE HAS NEVER BEEN USED AND IT HAS BEEN IN THE LEATHER SHEATH THE BLADE HAD SOME TYPE OF STAIN WHICH I DID CLEAN UP BEFORE TAKING PICTURES OF IT. THERE NO RUST ON THE BLADE BUT THERE'S SOME STAIN RESIDUE PLEASE LOOK AT PICTURES.
