Synopsis
Having fled to a family friend's hillside trailer after his mother's boyfriend tried to throw his baby sister against a wall, nine-year-old Jamie finds himself living an existence full of uncertainty and fear.
The story of nine-year-old Jamie who witnesses his mother's boyfriend, Van, throwing Jamie's half-sister across the room. Luckily, Jamie's mother catches the baby and moves her family away from the violent man. Although happy in his new surroundings, Jamie is still fearful that Van will find them and try to hurt his mother or baby sister again.
