The Kingston Trio
The Kingston Trio is an American folk and pop music group that helped launch the folk revival of the late 1950s to early 1960s. The Kingston Trio was one of the most commercially successful folk music groups with four albums at the same time among the Top 10 selling albums, a record unmatched for nearly 40 years. They are best known for the hit single "Tom Dooley" and their early albums. The original Trio consisted of Dave Guard, Bob Shane and Nick Reynolds. John Stewart replaced Guard in 1961 and although the group disbanded in the late 1960s, it was reformed shortly thereafter and continues to perform.Capital Records 1959 - Folk/Pop MusicJacket is in Fair to Good Condition (moderate shelf wear - jacket is torn on lower right corner of jacket - 5" split in upper right o jackets' seam - owners name is written in ink on front & back of album cover) - LP is in Very Good (VG) Condition.
