I am sosososo excited to find this lovely chair! Something comparable in 'human' size would sell for big, big bucks. Now I just wish I could find a table to go with it because lots of customers will be looking for that, too. This quality item has the famous "comb back," shaped seat, turned legs and rubbed finish you will see on many Colonial chairs. It has a more substantial feel than other similar chair miniatures I have seen over the years. You will be very happy with this item when you see it! Many of the items I sell were not made with a view toward their being toys. Collectors love my items for their settings. As you may know, there is new legislation about testing of toy items. Although this item comes from a reputable source, I am not aware of any specific testing that has been done to approve this item for sale as a toy. I recommend this item for you collectors out there. If, as a parent, you want to be able to use this item, I recommend a coat of water-based, nontoxic clear coat of some kind--just in case. I have been told that home test kits are unreliable. Dimensions are 18-1/2 x 12 x 7-1/4 inches with the seat 7-1/2 inches off the floor.
