Pennsylvania Railroad  N-2sa 2-10-2 Santa Fe Steam with N-6a Caboose  West Side Models Brass unpainted HO   A finely crafted expertly Samhongsa Korean crafted can motor powered model of this Whyte class Santa Fe type steam engine with the prototypical Belpaire firebox.  Although first delivered to the Pennsy under the USRA as standard USRA Santa Fe’s from both Alco Brooks and Baldwin, beginning in 1920 the Pennsy converted their fleet of 130 USRA Santa Fe types to the N-2sa – equipping each with the Belpaire firebox as well as other improvements.  These engines were equipped with Walschaert valve that were driven by a 190 PSI of steam.  The converted engines tipped the scales at 380,700 and could develop  tractive effort of over 73,000 lbs with its 63’’ drivers.  The class remained active on the road being retired between 1948 and 1953.  The model also includes a doghouse equipped tender and a N-6B wooden cupola caboose – a perfect  ending accompaniment to any freight consist in tow. A well running can motor power model, the engine appears to have been a display piece as plating is intact.  The model comes with original box and full foam.  Please allow $14 for insured domestic shipping and handling.  [5063]
