ca 1930's +/- Sun Rubber Race/Indy Car (please examine all pics):

Original, Very Good, Condition:

Up for auction is this early Sun Rubber Race/Indy Car marked underneath as "MFD. BY The Sun Rubber Co.  BARBER, OHIO  U.S.A.   Pat. No. 2005087  30"  Its completely intact, well-used, and aged over the years; even the driver's head is still there (must not have been a dog around), and, if you zoom in, has plenty of detail all over; I can find no splits or cracks in the rubber.  Obvious paint loss, but that's what gives it its character; you decide to touch up or leave alone.  For its age it's a nice, durable, collectible, toy.  Don't be afraid to let the kids play with it, but not the dog.
