MILITARY PAYMENT 5 CENT CERTIFICATES

 VERY GOOD- VERY FINE

The series 521, 541, 591 MPCs were issued worldwide in the PRE-VIETNAM WAR days from 1954 until 1964.  MPCs were issued to military personnel to help curtail blackmarketing.  It was good in military facilities like clubs and post exchanges.   This group would have bought a couple of beers for a soldier in many clubs!  MPCs were used to help foil black marketers.  These were used worldwide prior to the Viet Nam War.

Book value for this colorful set is $10.00 but retailers and Shop at Home TV often charges double that!   The notes are fine or so with some normal wear.  They have good color, are fairly clean and show moderate use.  They are all circulated so take a look at the photos to see whats offered.  The Redish-Pink  521 has some wear on the front.  All have fairly bright colors.   I'd rate them at VERY GOOD TO VERY FINE,  but you be the final judge with the photos which can be enlarged.
