Kadesh: Mobile Warfare in the Ancient Middle East is a recreation of the May 10, 1285 B.C.battle pitting an Egyptian army under Ramses II against a Hititte army led by Muwatallish. There is dispute as to the results of the battle, although it is reputed to be the largest chariot battle in history, with between five and six thousand engaged. The game, designed by Gene Dickens, is complete and unpunched. There were some game counters included for other games, which have been removed. However, all pieces for this game are present. This game, in Command Magazine No. 7 (November-December 1990), won the Charles S. Roberts Award for the best Pre-World War II game of 1990.. Please note that this listing does not include the magazine, just the game. Shipping will be at my cost - USPS Priority Shipping for the United States only. I will ship to other nations, but the shipping cost will be higher and shipping will be at the buyer's risk - please contact me for more information.
