HANDWOVEN RAG RUGS available in a variety of colors and styles. This auction is for one rag rug of your choice from the 32 different colors I have available. I have pictures of the 32 different rag rugs on my website. Please take a look at them by clicking on http://www.handwovenbysteve.com/Rag.html. Once you win the auction just let me know which rug you want and I will send you that one. Combined shipping is available for multiple items.
Each rag rug measures approximately 25" wide by 40" long plus a 3" fringe on each end.
ABOUT MY RAG RUGS: Rag rugs are very practical and easy to take care of, making them a popular choice for a variety of areas in your home. They are made out of material that has been cut into strips, sewn together into a continuous piece, and then woven into the beautiful rugs you see below. Materials used range from cottons, suiting fabrics, blankets, polyesters, orlons, and acrylics. For example, my denim rugs are made from recycled jeans which have been taken apart and given a new life. Typically I use a nylon warp which gives them their strength and durability, with a hand knotted fringe at each end. Each and every rug is unique.
Rag rugs are suitable for any room in your home and can handle high traffic areas. They are good in doorways, in kitchens, in bathrooms, and even on porches.

I make high quality and unique handwoven rag rugs, chenille rugs, placemats, table runners, afghans/throws, baby blankets, tea towels, and mug rugs in a variety of colours and patterns. I also make a variety of tapestry shoulder bags and pillows, as well as pillows made out of antique coverlets.
Express shipping for one rug is $12.95 to anywhere in Canada and $15.95 to anywhere in the United States (a cheaper shipping option is also available which takes a bit long - please let me know which one you prefer). I will gladly combine shipping for multiple items to save you money. Only pay actual shipping cost. All items shipped express with full insurance. Local pickup is okay too.
