Bill opens his talk by speaking about his Life before Sobriety.   He speaks highly of Lois and expresses his extreme gratitude for her.   Lois takes the microphone briefly after Bill makes some very heatfelt remarks to the effect that alcoholics generally have someone who cares for them in their corner hoping they will win out over their alcoholism in the end.    Lois was this person in his life.   She states that this is one of the most moving experiences of her entire life.  She makes it clear that she is not only grateful to the early AAs but also to everyone in attendance at this gathering.

Bill Tells His Story

Ebby was a major factor in Bill's Sobriety, and he shares how Ebby helped him to recover by sharing the message he had.    The early days of sobriety were kept busy by attending Oxford Group Meetings at the Calvery Mission,  Rev.Sam Shoemaker's Church.     

Rev. Sam Shoemaker also addresses the gathering; He tells the story of a small stained glass window right inside the Calvary Church entrance that is dedicated to the momory of roland Hazzard.    You sense it is a joyous occasion and the sweet taste of victory over alcoholism resonates from all three speakers.   Very inspiring
