For bid is a vintage crewel work bedspread: BIRD OF PARADISE. It still has the original label which is a bit faded but reads: HAND MADE HANDLOOM HAND EMBROIDERED CREWEL FABRICS/BED SPREADS DESIGN: BIRD OF PARADISE COLOURS: GOLD/MULTI COLORS SIZE: 104" X 120" MADE IN KASHMIR, INDIA. The pictures show the spread folded to get a closer view. The spread shows the bird of paradise along with flowers in shades of gold, blue, green, and rust on a cream color background. Spread is lovely, does show a few light spots from usage and a couple of small wear holes. I have pictured the holes, they are small and not easy to see from a distance, but need to mention them for accuracy. GREAT vintage crewel work spread. Buyer to pay calculated shipping cost based on zone which does not include the cost of insurance coverage.
