I use these HairPins all the time.  These Hold my Hair an do not break easily.  I have 2 colors. Clear an Tortoise Shell colored. Shell varies in color. Some Darker than others.  Metal 3 Inch Pins are pretty sturdy.  Smaller pins are good to hold a curl up or loose hair.
