About This Laptop

This is the cutest learning toy! It does look almost exactly like a real laptop computer! it opens up with a screen on the top, and locks shut when the lid is down. It even has a realistic mouse that plugs into the back of the laptop. The keyboard is laid out like a real one. There are several ways that children can learn with this educational toy, the categories listed on the front of the screen are:

Learning letters, Learning words, Spelling, Word guess, Missing vowels, Beginning letters, Missing letters, Scramble, Correct the word, Spell the word, Word compactor, Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Missing sign, Place the order, Learning time, Juke box/piano, Clock, Hit the letters, Animationary.

Each of the categories listed above have a number next to them, from 01-22. Entering the numbers on the keyboard will give you that specific activity.

To learn a letter, the child types a letter on the keyboard, and the screen shows that letter in both upper and lower case, and the voice tells what the letter is. If the child gets tired of that game and wants to play another, they simply press the right mouse button that reads "esc" for escape. It takes you back to the main menu asking you to choose an activity again.
