there was a contest for the best story to go with the pictures
this image page was originally published in the Ladies Home Journal 1910 - 1911

these images can be printed out for paper play or scrapbooking and card making
 they are ideal for unique clip art images

SHIPPING
Due to the changes in the ebay policy on digital downloads, these images can only be delivered on a CD and by mail

I custom create each CD and can burn MANY images onto one CD so - you can purchase as many images as you care to and there will be only the one S/H fee

The S/H cost includes the CD and very careful packaging and postage

ABOUT ME
I have loved and collected vintage images for years, most especially the magazine pages for children - paper dolls and toys and puzzles
I transfered much of my image collection to a digital format to preserve and to restore them 

All of my images start off in the public domain - I then spend a very long time scanning, repairing and cleaning up the damage that happens to paper over time
They now qualify as altered art under my copyright
You may use the images in any way for your personal use
If you wish to use them for business purposes please contact me and we can easily work something out 

My images are very large - I scan at 300dpi so the average postcard image sizes out to 1000 X 1600 pixels and the average page image sizes out to 3000 X 4000 pixels

The large size of the images allows you to have lots of creative fun with them
They are large enough to be cropped and cut. You could create collages or use smaller images separately or as clip art
The pages print out with lots of detail and clarity
