1872 New England Fair Lowell MA 41 ½" x 35" Print Awesome
If you are from Lowell or the surrounding area, you are probably well aware that we just celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Lowell Folk Festival; this auction is a great historical reproduction of an original Lithograph which shows that Lowell has been hosting Festival and Fairs as far back as 1863. This print is the 9th Annual and is dated 1872 most likely General Butler was in attendance. This is a great piece of history from the city and any Lowellian would be proud to display this wonderful print.
This print is a large-scale reproduction of an original Lithograph. The lithograph is of "The Ninth Annual New England Fair, at Lowell, Massachusetts, September 3, 4, 5 & 6, 1872"
You will see through all the photos enclosed that great care was taken when enlarging this lithograph it’s current size of 41 ½ inches wide by 35 inches high (the print is 39 ½ " by 32 inches). It was created by Dominick I. Drummond and was published in 1872.
This large-scale historical image is printed on heavyweight satin paper and displays like a work of art. We originally purchased two with the idea of framing both, one for us and one for our son, we have ours framed and mounted but my son's apartment just isn't large enough to display it so we are offering it to the highest bidder.
NB: All the photos were taken in true light without the luxury of a tripod, most are quite clear, but I apologize for some of the shakier ones, enjoy the ride down history lane. Good luck and may God Bless!
We deal mainly in dolls and doll clothing, mostly new, but we do buy estates for resale. We sell hand crafted doll clothing predominately for the Sasha doll. We occasionally deal in (brand new shelf pulls) women's clothing from high-end stores and boutiques such as SAKS & Neiman Marcus.
If not otherwise stated, all of our items come from a smoke and pet free environment. We are very customer centric, most all of our items come with a money back return policy (see policy below), as result, we do ask that if you have any questions or reservations, please email us prior to bidding! See my other auctions for more great items!

Here's a name you may well have read about in Kerouac's books, from Lowell's famous murders row (a string of Funeral Parlors on Pawtucket Street) most are still there today!

I know my Lowell History, but for the life of me I don't know who Daniel Needham was, perhaps he just wasn't very influential. Interesting though, check out the scroll in the upper left, there is a '5' in the middle of it ... curious
