Hand Painted Milson & Louis High Heel Whimsical Candle Holder

This piece is somewhat eclectic, but elegant at the same time. This is a classic Milson & Louis piece from Portugal. This candle holder is 6 inches long by 3 inches high and 2 inches wide. The candle holder is a brass insert into the top of the shoe and the high heel is painted in: (mauves, yellows, blues with mauve and white stripes and black and white checks. There are painted flowers surrounding candle area).

Milson & Louis, a direct importing company in business since 1939 and based in Boston, MA, has a mixture of many styles specializing in inner Bohemian and classic sophistication. Many of their items are whimsical in nature (for the free spirit), with a touch of sophistication to keep you grounded. Their pieces are destined to become "grandparent’s heirlooms".

We deal mainly in dolls and doll clothing, mostly new, but we do buy estates for resale. We sell hand crafted doll clothing predominately for the 16" - 17" vinyl dolls and the 18" stuffed doll. We occasionally deal in (brand new shelf pulls) women's clothing from high-end stores and boutiques such as found on 5th Ave in NYC.
