This is a Hudson Pewter Walt Disney "Donald Duck" highly collectible piece of Pewter Sculpture. I think it is from around 1986. I have several pieces of the Walt Disney Hudson Pewter from a store that sold out back then. It still has the price tag on it.
The picture does not do the little guy justice. I couldn't get the right angle. It's called "Lion Tamer" at the Circus, Retired. He has a gun in one hand. The part in his other hand is the back half of a chair, the seat and front legs have been chewed off by the lion. Donald is defending himself with the remainder. The detail is very good.
Pewter is a noble metal that is cast into valued art objects.
Hudson is the recognized leader in the manufacture of quality gifts in pewter. There pieces were made by Hudson Company for Walt Disney Company. You can see the Walt Disney Mark on the bottom. These were Limited pieces.
He is approximately 2 1/4" tall. And He is excellent untouched condition, he has been boxed and stored in clean conditions for all these years.
