One of the grandest of all places to discover the beauty of pottery--Tonala Mexico. ITS A TRUE GEM boasting a tradition that goes back  to pre-Hispanic times.
This gorgeous place also boast some of the most renowed master potters and their talents are seen in thier gorgeous work.
 
An older piece of Tonala Pottery by artist SANTANA is signed on the side of the bird. Earlier piece looks to be older then most I have found, an interesting look. A swan with a very interesting geometric pattern within the design. Gorgeous blues are still vivid, the face as shown in the photos have faded with time. Interesting that the eye is different on one side than the other (there is always a story when things are made that way)

  • LIKE NEW CLOTHING: Is not new, but has only been worn a few times and still looks as good as when it was first worn-no wash wear
  • EXCELLENT USED CLOTHING: As with clothing: Item is used and has been worn. No holes, stains or tears in the material. Shows only a minor bit of wash wear and still by our judgment has a lot of use left in it. All other items have no damage to the item
  • GENTLY USED / GENTLY WORN: Item is used and worn. Shows some noticeable wash wear but still has life. Any stains will be mentioned. We do not sell items with rips or holes
  • PLAY CONDITION: Has considerable wash wear. The knees and seat in the pants maybe worn. There may be stains, but not too offensive. Item has some wear left in it-but is considered useful around the house clothing.
