I will be on vacation August 14 to August 22. I may be able to answer questions occassionally during this time if and when I have access to a PC but I am not sure. If you want to purchase and item, you may, but I will not able to deliver it until I get back. This listing is for 1 Dozen custom made arrows. I will make the arrows from weight matched Port Orford Cedar to the buyers request from the materials available to me. I will use Bohning Clear Lacquer Sealer and Gloss paints for these arrows, Trueflight feathers and Bohning Classic Index nocks. I make 3 fletch arrows with a Bitzenburger Fletching jig which is in my opinion the best jig made. Base priced arrows include cresting with one color plus hairline highlight (I normally use black or metalic colors like gold and silver as highlight colors). Some options like barred feathers, crown dipping, brass points etc have additional charges (these materails cost me more.) Buyer needs to specify: Shaft size and spine weight, shaft stain, crest color (or no crest,) color of nock, feather length cut, cock and hen feather color, length of shaft, and grain weight of point. The base cost of my custom arrows is $75 which includes shipping and handling to USA. Items that bring addition charges are listed below. Shaft stain: unstained, dark walnut, cocoa brown, medium brown, tan, or buckskin. These are my usual stain colors. I prefer alcohol dye based stains as they do not have the compatibility problems with the sealer and they do not raise the wood grain like water base dyes do. Please inquire before purchase for others I might have available. Available feather lengths and cut: 4 inch and 5 inch shield and parabolic. I use Left Wing feathers most frequently. I can make arrows with Right Wing feathers but I do not have many in stock. Additional time for delivery may be required for Right Wing feathers because I have to order them from my suppliers. Unless specified by buyer, I will use Left Wing feathers with left wing helical offset on all arrows. . Available Trueflight feather solid colors: White, black, red, yellow, gold, blue, green, orange, gray, chartreuse. Available Bohning Classic Index nock colors: Black, white, Red, Orange, Yellow, Flo. green. I have some red and white mercury speed nocks for 11/32 and 23/64 inch shafts. If buyer wants these instead please tell me. Available point weights: 5/16" 70 grain, 100 grain, 125 grain 11/32" 100, 125, 145, 160 grain 23/64" 125, 145, 160 grain Available arrow sizes and spine weight: 5/16" shaft: 30-35, 35-40, 40-45 lbs 11/32" shaft: 40-45, 45-50, 50-55, 55-60 lbs 23/64" shaft: 50-55, 55-60, 60-65, 65-70, 70-75 lbs Heavier spine weights may be available on a limited basis. Please inquire before purchase.
For additional charge, buyer needs to specify: Trueflight Barred Feathers add $3 for barred cock feather, $6 for barred hen, $9 for all three barred. Crown dip (+$3/doz) available colors: White, Red, Blaze Orange and Yellow. I normally use a 9 inch dip from nock end. Please specify different length if desired. 125 grain Brass Bullet points (available in 11/32 and 23/64 only): $10/doz.
Buyer needs to specify: Draw weight of Bow at your draw length, shaft size and spine weight, shaft stain, crest color (or no crest), color of nock, feather length cut and color (be sure to specify what color for cock feather on each arrow), feather left wing or right wing, length of shaft, and grain weight of point from options above by the contact email through ebay or by emailing me at naterkc@hotmail.com. Wood arrows are recommended only for use with traditional archery equipment (recurves and longbows). DO NOT use these arrows with compound bows, especially the current high speed compounds. I will not sell wood arrows to anyone who plans to use them in a compound bow. Sold as is. Wood arrow shafts are a product of nature, not manufactured like aluminum or carbon. I will accept returns under certain conditions. Full refund for uncut arrows and in as shipped by seller condition. If the arrows have been cut but in as shipped by seller condition, only 75% of purchase price can be refunded.
