This is a 4.10'x9' Bakhtiari area rug which features a field of diamond shaped compartments each with a different color stylized pine tree motif within. The ivory border decorated with charming blossoms and geometric figures sets off this striking colorful design.These pictures, shot in natural daylight, depict the true colors in this piece. Please note that there is some slight red color run in the ivory border, however, this does not detract from the appeal of this harmonious piece. This rug is very charming and is exceptionally pleasing. Bakhtiari rugs are named for the formerly nomadic Bakhitiari tribe found in the area southwest of Ishfahan, Iran. There are nearly 200 villages in this area today, which produce some of the most sought after carpets on the market. This carpet is absolutely clean and ready for use in your home.
