A: This should work for any HP or Compaq that has the "Restore plus" CD or DVD. Not the restore cd that you can make using your system.

A: No it won't work with out the Restore DVD for the system. The dvd's that you can using the computer will be recovery disk for your system not the restore dvd or cd. Thanks

 Q: hi. i was looking at your item and i have a doubt. i got a Compaq presario 5000. Intel inside celeron Windows xp. can i use this kind of software in my computer?????
A: Maybe, you do have to have the restore dvd or cd for your computer before hand. When we have tested this item the disc wants us to insert the restore dvd of our system before we use this disc. Thanks

 Q: i have evo compaq computer with a window 98. Can i install window xp pro sp2 on it.
A: More than likely the answer is no. You need to have the COA or key for windows xp pro. You also need the "Restore CD" before you can use this disk.
