This collection includes: Basil, Lemon - 100 + seeds
Lemon Basil is perfect for flavoring roasted chicken and other chicken dishes. This plant has small leaves that have a lemon flavor that is excellent in savory dishes. Use in flavoring chicken dishes, salads, vegetables, tomato dishes, cheese, omlets, tea and fish. Plant produces a large yield of small lemon-flavored leaves.
Oregano, Greek- 100 + seeds
Greek Oregano is one of the best tasting oregano varieties around. Excellent for pizza and all Greek and Italian dishes. The flavor is wonderful with tomatos, onion, garlic, and beef. This variety is suitable for containers, growing to 18" tall.
Rosemary - 50 + seeds
Rosemary is fragrant, colorful, and delicious. Rosemary is a very versatile herb, used in many cultures as a culinary treat. Wonderful with beef, poultry, soups and stews. Both fragrance and flavor are rich, spicy, and mouth watering. With blue-gray foliage, it is an exquisite ornamental which adds flavor and excitement to many dishes.
Thyme - 100 + seeds
Thyme is a low-growing perennial that is extremely fragrant and flavorful and grows well in tough dry conditions. It is wonderful dried, or fresh as a seasoning for all meats, poultry, stuffing, soups and dips. This variety grows to 12" tall, and is most flavorful when grown in dryish soil. Chives are one of the essential kitchen herbs. It imparts a delicate onion flavor to dishes. Chives are beautiful and delicious in salads, and can be used chopped fresh, or frozen to add wonderful flavor to dishes. Delightful as a seasoning for potatos, salads, pasta, vegetables and dips. Chives are perennial and form a strong clump that you can harvest from for years to come. Just one plant seasons meat and vegetables all summer long. Savory has a warming peppery scent and taste. Summer Savory is wonderful to season beans, meats and stuffing. It is a very fast grower, putting on new aromatic leaves almost as soon as you harvest them.
This is more than 500 seeds that are ready to be planted. Oregano, Rosemary, Thyme and Chives are perennial and will continue to grow all year. Basil and Summer Savory are annuals but will re-seed themselves liberally and come back every year. We include planting instructions and a bonus with every order.
