~ Arts & Crafts period Vintage brass table lamp light ~

Unique. Guaranteed old vintage copper/ brass lamp w/ new hard to find LIGHT green glass shade. Very heavy weighted base is covered in thick copper/brass. Curved rod and shade mount look to be solid brass. Beautiful antique patina. Much of the brass finish has been lost and underside of copper is now showing. 14 inches high by 17 inches long. Base is 5 1/2 inch wide. Green glass shade is 7 inches wide x 4 inches high. Looks like there was original gold paint covering the lamp. This is mostly all gone. The curved rod  is attached to the weighted base. When rotating you can hear the base move against the inside weight. The curved rod is wobbly from age, it does not allow the rod to remain at 90 degrees. Upper adjusting shade clamps work fine. One new non-original screw to hold green shade as it was missing a thumb screw. New bulb socket, new corded wire, new black rubber plug to make this safe to operate. Works fine. Weighs 11 lbs boxed. Airmail for 8000 miles in an aircraft costs this much to North America. Less to Japan.
