Large, eye-catching watch from the Invicta Reserve Speedway XL collection.  Meteorite face created from actual Gibeon Meteorite material.  Watch features stainless steel case with a unidirectional rotating bezel, stainless steel bracelet with black rubber accent inner links, Tritnite luminous hands, Tritnite luminous index markers at all hour positions, and a sapphire crystal. Time piece has 660 ft water resistance, screw down crown and screw down function pushers.  Both case and bezel have a satin brushed finish.  White mother-of-pearl sub-dials at 3:00, 6:00 and 9:00 positions.  Swiss 5040D quartz chronograph movement.  Five year warranty (standard with all Invicta Reserve time pieces).  Brand new in box, never worn or sized.

Interesting Information about Gibeon Meteorite Material: Gibeon meteorite material makes for a fascinating addition to any timepiece. What you may not be aware of is that its history stems back to 1838 when it was first discovered by Captain J.E. Alexander. Hearing of native iron building up along the Great Fish River, the Captain made the decision to have samples analyzed.  After analyzing the samples it was realized that these large masses were not of Earth-born origin. It is believed that the Gibeon meteorite was actually quite large, but broke up into smaller pieces upon reaching Earth's atmosphere. Scientists theorize that the Gibeon meteorite fell to Earth in pre-historic times. Radiometric dating of Gibeon meteorite fragments have classified them as approximately four-billion years old.
