5 1/4” H. x 9 1/4” D.


Vintage figural centerpiece by California potter Claire Stewart, who used the pseudonym Sorcha Boru and operated studios in Menlo Park, California and San Carlos, California. There is one chip on the rim of the dish, please see the photos.

Stewart's work has been exhibited at the Whitney Museum of American Art (1937), the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (1935), the Golden Gate International Exposition (1939), Everson Museum of Art (1936) and Northwestern University Museum of Art.
