ANTIQUE COMPOSITION WALKING CRYING DOLL PEGGY PARIS CO.

Listed is a large antique composition walking/crying doll, made by the Paris Doll Co., circa 1940. This doll stands 28" and has a composition head/body which is fully jointed with a walker mechanism in her hips. In addition she has a metal cryer box in the center of her body, which still works loud and clear. The doll's distinctive leg shape and the coiled wire designed for her walking mechanism identify her as being made by the Paris Doll Co. This doll's composition is in excellent original condition, showing no cracks/breaks/crazing and she has very nice original finish/coloring. The doll's walking mechanism is in excellent working condition too. The doll walks by having the child hold her from the back and walks her along. Her facial finish/details are especially nice and she has big blue sleep eyes with full lashes and her original blond mohair wig that is full & clean. I believe she is wearing her original rayon silk dress with attached eyelet lace slip and panties, plus her original red strap shoes and knit socks. This doll and her clothing are immaculately clean and come from a nonsmoking home. There are NO unpleasant odors with this doll. This is a great antique collectible doll. Buyer pays ship/ins.
