JOHN McCORMACK SINGS IRISH SONGS (recorded between 1911 and 1930) On RCA Camden Stereo LP; condition very good; very little wear, if any. John McCormack, was said to be the "true redeemer of bel canto." Although he gave a great deal of opera performances, the greatest part of his career was made as a concert artist. Enjoy these Irish ballads, sung so exquisitely. Side 1: Little town in the auld county down Macushla Where the river Shannon flows Somewhere a voice is calling Then you'll remember me The foggy dew When Irish eyes are smiling Side 2: There is a flower that bloometh Molly Bawn Molly Brannigan Mother Machree Kathleen Mavourneen The Rose of Tralee I hear you calling me |
