For Madame Alexander Cissy-gown, slip, mitts, jewelry

With grateful thanks to some fellow Cissy experts, here is a gown I've constructed which is a copy of the red flocked gown Madame Alexander made for Cissy in the 1950's. Vintage flocked nylon skirt is gathered over a pink organdy underskirt with rolled hem, like the original. Flocked nylon trims bodice of pink organdy, lined in white organdy and closing with four square snaps. Beneath the gown, an organdy petticoat is edged in nylon ruffle and closes with a single square snap. In her hair, Cissy wears vintage forget me nots and one of those impossible to find cabbage roses favored by Madame Alexander. More vintage forget me nots trim her gown. Cissy carries a bouquet of larger pink and white roses and forget me nots. Cissy wears new-made faux pearl drop earrings, pearl necklace and pearl bracelet over long white mitts. I believe dress would also fit Miss Revlon, Sweet Sue Sophisticate, Dollikin and other 20" dolls.
