I rank as follows:   MINT OR MINT-D: Book is exactly as received from publisher. MINT copies are flawless. MINT-D books have a publisher’s defect. In the case of Easton Press books, defects I have seen are 1) an ill-sewn corner or 2) a scratch or depression in the page gilding. These defects are rare, but if a MINT book I am selling has one, I always report it. However, I will not take responsibility for MINT-D defects and will not accept a return of a MINT-D book unless I am at fault in not reporting it in the book description. SEALED.   LIKE NEW: Book is in perfect condition but IS NOT SEALED.     FINE: Book is in excellent condition but may have shelf-wear or scratches: THIS COPY HAS A 1 CM SCRATCH IN SIDE GILDING AND A SMALL CORNER BUMP, TOP RIGHT. NO OTHER FLAWS.   VERY GOOD: Book has sustained some damage, but is still a display-quality copy.    READING: Book is a good reading copy, in excellent condition for its age. It may have several minor flaws: fading, shelf wear, scratches, bookplates, binding not mint-tight. I report these flaws accurately.   ETHICS:  My NUMBER ONE PRIORITY is CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.
