Monogram Navy Frogmen and LCP(R) Boat Model Kit

Rare rare Monogram U.S. Navy LCP(R) boat with crew and underwater demolition team frogmen.  Plastikit PB48, copyright 1959. This beautiful and totally unbuilt kit builds into a very attractive display with the LCP boat, life raft, slingshot pickup, 5 frogmen with equipment, two crew members, machine guns, and engine.  Hull is one piece.  Decals are uncut, also includes a mini folded Monogram catalog of kits of the day.  Lots of loose pieces, but they are all there, and placed in a zippered plastic bag for protection.  Instructions are in great shape, as is the box, save for some very slight crush in on one corner, the upper left when looking at the box straight on.  This kit is in amazing shape for its age and incredible to find in this condition.  Flat format box measures 14 X 6 3/8 X 2 inches, and exept for the aforementioned slight denting is in very straight conditon with very crisp artwork and almost no rub wear.  These don't come along very often!

This kit is from a group of vintage issue models from a recently acquired collection, keep watching for more rare collectible kits coming up.  Since I also do shows, make sure you get your bid in early to get it registered, I reserve the right to cancel the auction early in the case of a local sale. 

Auction is in US Dollars due via paypal within 5 days of auction close.   Sales tax if you are in Ohio will be an additional 6.5% of auction win price.

Shipping is $9.40 USD, which includes shipping via USPS priority mail, plus delivery confirmation.  No guarantee that the package will be free from shipping damage on arrival.

 I don’t require insurance as I do require delivery confirmation to make sure the Post Office serves us both.  If you want insurance, it will be an extra charge and can be done, delivery confirmation credit will be calculated as part of this.  Insurance fee is calculated based on coverage for the value of the win price.

I will combine shipping on multiple purchases, request for total amount for multiple purchases.

Sales tax if you are in Ohio will be 6.5%.
