You are bidding on a fantastic 6ea matching set lot of vintage glass door knobs, locks, backing plates, and keys There are a total of 12ea glass door knobs of which are all in great condition; they are all clear glass/crystal in the traditional rose pattern; all match. There are no cracks, no chips nor detached mounting from the bases. Each brass base has the setscrew of which none are stripped nor missing. With the 12 glass door knobs are the 6ea shafts, of which are all in great condition also. There are 6ea matching door lock assemblies with this lot of which all are operational and in great condition. There are 12ea matching backing plates that are assembled with the door lock assemblies. I have only 5 skeleton keys that fit each of 5 lock assemblies. (one lock will not have a key, nor do any of the other keys open this lock, the lock appears to be in perfect operational condition) The keys are not all matching; you have Lockwood Mfg Co #5, #6 (2ea), Unnamed #4, and one unmarked.
Overall there are no major outstanding defects to any of the listed items. They are all in pretty clean condition but could use one good scrubbing before being mounted for use. Very little corrosion, very little paint residue. Buyer will be very pleased.
