3D Ultra NASCAR Pinball from Sierra's Dynamix affiliate combines two of America's favorite pastimes: energetic pinball and high-speed car racing. You play pinball in the usual way by smacking metal balls around in search of hidden features, high scores, and points all in aid of increased performance in an off-the-table NASCAR race.
The game has three pinball tables, each with four selectable backgrounds and a choice of four specific drivers. The player starts off on the "Garage" table on which extra accessories and modifications, such as steering, tune-ups, and special brakes for your stock car, can be won in preparation for the big race.
The next table is called "Speedway" where a minute's worth of qualifying scoring takes place followed by a full ten-lap race. If problems occur during the race, the "Pitstop" table appears to fix the car or change the tires.
There is a choice of customizable features such as Easy and Hard modes, as well as a multiplayer function.
