This is a vintage wooden mask, unusually large, and elaborately decorated with cowry shells and bird feathers. It was acquired by my Father during his travels, in the 1960's and 1970's. It was a gift from a local government official, and I believe it already has some age at that time.
Measures 31.5" tall, not including the feathers.
It is in excellent vintage condition, never cleaned or polished, with original warm patina, and no hidden damage or repairs.
