Two pamphlet style magazines from the fifties, subtitled 'A review of current literature and thought'. They look at scientific, philosophical and religious issues in the news, from a mostly Christian perspective. Although not explicitly referred to in article titles, there are also several references to communism and Russia.
Contents include: Freud and Christianity, Is Evolution a Myth?, The Making of an Atom Bomb, Is Heaven above us?, Evolution and the Eye, Darwin and the Feugians, Mathematical Politics, Metanoia (change of religious thought), Opinions of Max Planck and much more!
Some articles 3-5 pages, others more newsy snippets. Both in reasonable condition for age, covers a bit grubby, no loose pages. Both about 45 pages, published by the Paternoster Press in London. Both Vol III, no's 3 and 4 Autumn and Winter 1950.
