This 100% complete audio transfer kit is not only easy to set up and use, but is literally PACKED with dozens of features!!!

   You will be able to transfer both commercial and home-made cassette tapes, all record types, 8-track tapes, portable recording devices and anything else that has audio... both into mono or stereo. Plug in a microphone and you can even record your own voice to be put onto CD!!! (Sorry This system will NOT work with MAC computers)

   If you have 2 computers (laptop-desktop-doesn't matter) you can even record audio from You-Tube or any other internet source. Including songs, concerts, sermons, speeches, stories, sound effects and anything else you can think of. If it can play through your computer speakers... you can record it, make CDs, put on your IPOD or anything you'd like.

First item included: One complete audio recording-editing software CD useable on Windows XP, Windows Vista, GNU/Linux and other operating systems which can:

• Record and convert cassette tapes, vinyl records, 8-track tapes and other audio devices into digital recordings or CDs.
• Record live audio from voice or other sources (just need a microphone)
• Import and Edit your own .Wav files, Ogg Vorbis, MP3, or AIFF sound files and customize however you'd like.
• Cut, copy, splice or mix sounds together.
• Amplify your recordings that have been recorded at too low of volume.
• Add many custom effects such as: fade-in, fade-out, bass boost etc.
• Change the speed or pitch of any recording.
• Make and apply your own EQ adjustments.

Recording

With this complete software/hardware kit, you will be able to digitize recordings from cassette tapes, vinyl records, 8-Track Tapes, minidiscs, portable devices, and even record live audio through a microphone. Simply load the CD software program into your computer, plug in one of the 2 supplied cables (one to your player device and one to your computer), open up the recording program and start recording!!! (It takes a little bit of time to learn how to use everything, but WOW it really works GREAT).

• Record from your cassette player, record player, 8-track player, or other devices using one of our supplied hardware cables and software CD.
• Record from microphone, line input, or other sources.
• Dub over existing tracks to create multi-track recordings.
• Record up to 16 channels at once (requires multi-channel hardware).
• Level meters can monitor volume levels before, during, and after recording.

Editing

• Easily edit any audio with Cut, Copy, Paste, and Delete. Just highlight the section you want to modify, edit or delete.
• Use unlimited Undo (and Redo) to go back any number of steps.
• Very fast editing of large files.
• Edit and mix an unlimited number of tracks.
• Use the Drawing tool to alter individual sample points.
• Fade the volume up or down smoothly with the Envelope tool.

Import and Export

Import sound files, edit them, and combine them with other files or new recordings. Export your recordings in several common file formats.

• Import and export WAV, AIFF, AU, and Ogg Vorbis files.
• Import MPEG audio (including MP2 and MP3 files) with libmad.
• Export MP3s with the optional LAME encoder library.
• Create WAV or AIFF files suitable for burning to CD.
• Import and export all file formats supported by libsndfile.
• Open raw (headerless) audio files using the “Import Raw” command.
• Note: This software does not currently support WMA, AAC, or most other proprietary or restricted file formats.

Effects

• Remove/reduce static, hiss, hum, or other constant background noises.
• Change the pitch without altering the tempo, or vice-versa.
• Alter frequencies with Equalization, FFT Filter, and Bass Boost effects.
• Adjust volumes with Compressor, Amplify, and Normalize effects.
• Other built-in effects include:

Sound Quality

• Record and edit 16-bit, 24-bit, and 32-bit (floating point) samples.
• Record at up to 96 kHz.
• Sample rates and formats are converted using high-quality resampling and dithering.
• Mix tracks with different sample rates or formats, the software will convert them automatically in realtime.
• Spectrogram mode for visualizing frequencies.
• “Plot Spectrum” command for detailed frequency analysis.

Second Item Included: One 6 foot RCA-Ministereo cable

   This first cable included has a headphone jack/mini-stereo connection on one end, and 2 RCA audio connectors on the other (I-Pod compatible), which makes connecting any A/V device that uses RCA jacks such as cassette, record or 8-Track players to your computer simple and easy. You can also connect a home stereo, VCR player, DVD player, or any other similar device to your computer's sound card and start recording this type of audio as well!

   This Cable can also attach to your iPod or iPod cradle, so you can actually play your portable audio through your home stereo or portable speakers. Just connect the 3.5mm, mini-stereo plug into your portable stereo device, then connect the RCA plugs into the RCA jacks of your stereo. You're now ready to listen to  your favorite selections from your iPod through your home stereo system.

Third Item Included: One 6 foot M/M Ministereo adapter cable

   This "bonus" Mini-Stereo Audio Cable is great to connect and record portable audio equipment that does not have RCA plug-in jacks, but instead has only mini-stereo or headphone jacks. Such as: Portable CD players, tape players, hand-held recording devices (mini and micro-cassette recorders), CD sound cards, multimedia speakers, and others. Simply connect one end of the cable to the mini-stereo or headphone jack on your audio component, and the other end to your computer. Open up the software program and start recording.
