DESCRIPTIONS:

This vintage t-shirt has one of my favorite cartoon characters on it!  Betty Boop has been an animated cartoon character since the 1920s with her overt combination of sexuality and innocence.  Created by the animator, Grim Natwick and appearing in film shorts by Fieischer Studios, she underwent an anthropomorphic change from cuddly poodle to sexy flapper and remains popular today. She has starred  in two filmstrips in the 1930s and again in the 1980s. In the 1920s and 30s she represented the rebellious youth as a flapper girl, boop-boop-pe-dup-ing through life.. On this t-shirt, she becomes a symbol of the rebellious youth of today.

This white shirt is an XL extra large. This size determination was done according to the measurements. All of the tags have been removed. It feels like good quality cotton and is fairly heavy with clear illustrations on both front and back. This two sided t-shirt is detailed with bright clear color.. The illustration is dated either 1993 Kong Features Syndicate, Fleischer studios, Inc. The illustrations are bright and clear without peeling or lifting. The front illustration fully extends over the front of the shirt including the sleeves and are full color, The illustration on the back of the shirt is slightly smaller, 15x15 and is graphic in nature and centered on the shirt. Green and orange predominant.  ....

This item has been cleaned and washed in a washing machine, gentle cycle. It is a used secondhand item in excellent condition. No dryer sheets are used in the drying or packaging.

The mannequin is 35-24-36, a well-rounded size 6 - 8. The total length of the mannequin is 33" inches.

This shirt is a cotton jersey tee-shirt material. It does have some stretch so check your measurements and give yourself room to move or measure against a garment whose fit you like. The measurements are of the item only andd the size has been based on the measurements. The tags have been removed... This t-shirt has been previously owned but it is in great condition. There are no stains, no holes and no rips or tears. It is not torn nor is the neckliner worn ringed or pilled. It may have been worn but with care. It looks great and has been freshly laundered. It is a great design distinctive and attractive. Although it has been previously owned, it has been gently treated. The garment has been dry- cleaned or gently machine-washed or is new old stock and is ready to go!

This garment is VINTAGE or second hand and although in good condition, it may have unnoticed faults such as weak threads, due to age. Thread ages at a different rate than fabric. I see no damage other than what has been mentioned and I try to be aware if a garment has been altered or hemmed. If found to be so, I will mention it, but small details may have been unintentionally missed. This item is not retro. If true vintage, it is a potential unique item that may be one of a kind or hard to find again.. It is real and it can be worn.

Vintage lingerie cannot be returned, due to its intimate nature. In some states, it is the law. If the garment is new, the tags have to be in place to be returned and in the same condition. Due to several buyers who have damaged expensive items, if an item is returned with damage, the professional repair will be subtracted from the return amount.

I make very careful measurements. Please remember that the measurements are of the garment and give yourself room to move. A skilled seamstress can always take in an item, but letting out is another story, especially on a vintage garment. It can be difficult if not impossible.

If you chose to return, returns must be received within seven days in unmarked, original condition..

I am willing to combine. If you wish this, please notify me and I will give you a discounted invoice for shipping both items together if possible. This has to be done before any payments are made.

Delivery confirmation is included and I will notify you what it is so you can track. If you are International you will be provided with the customs number. You are responsible for customs charges.

Payments have changed and increased at the post office and are closely watched in terms of size, weight and type. I ship Priority, Priority flat rate and First class (international and US) with Delivery Confirmation if possible.  I will try to offer a choice.  If you choose an alternative shipping to priority, it will take much longer to arrive. I have no control over the postal system but I will notify you with an estimated time of delivery and give you the delivery confirmation number or the customs number.

My home is smoke-free but not pet-free. I own a cat and if you are allergic please be aware. Most of my items will be dry cleaned to be rid of smells and odor or will be laundered and pressed but they are second hand. No scented sheets are used.
