Vintage Binoculars Optex De Luxe 7x35 with Leather Compass Case

Optex De Luxe binoculars are Weathersealed, Double Coated, 341 at 1000', Lightweight, Serial No. 53109, Made in Japan.  Both eye pieces focus smoothly from +2 to -4 (the right eyepeice is slightly loose).  View is clear and sharp with perfect alignment.  Lenses are in great shape with some internal dust.  The leather binocular neck strap is in good shape.  Body has some wear (see photos) but no corrosion.

The lens coating on all lenses appear to be intact.  There is no evidence of coating wear from cleaning.

Original Leather Case with compass on lid top.  Compass glass is intact and clear and compass works just fine.  Case shows wear with some water staining but is in remarkable condition for its age.  The strap has been torn from one side but could be stitched together or replaced.  Strap holders are intact.  The lid latch is intact and it latches properly.  Case has 'Japan' stamped on front just under the lid (see photo).
