UP FOR BID IS A BEAUTIFUL OLD FULL SIZE VIOLIN THAT NEEDS SOME HELP. THERE IS NO LABEL ON THE INSIDE BUT HANDWRITTEN IN INK IS 1758 WHICH I CAN ONLY SPECULATE TO BE THE DATE OF BIRTH. (SEE PICS). AS YOU SEE IN THE PICS IT IS IN NEED OF SOME REPAIR, THE FINGERBOARD NEEDS TO BE REGLUED AND THE NECK JOINT HAS ISSUES. I AM BY NO MEANS A PROFESSIONAL OF ANY SORT REGARDING VIOLINS. PLEASE USE THE MANY PICTURES TO JUDGE THE CONDITION AS THIS IS YOUR MOST RELIABLE SOURCE. I WILL DEFINITELY TRY TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITY. I BELIEVE THIS VIOLIN IS 4/4 SIZE, THE DIMENSIONS ARE AS FOLLOWS-

BODY LENGTH 14 INCHES

THE VIOLIN NEEDS NEW STRINGS AND THE BOW NEEDS NEW HAIR. THE BOW IS MARKED ROMA ON THE SIDE AND GERMANY ON THE BOTTOM BEHIND THE FROG. THE CASE IS INCLUDED AND HAS CONSIDERABLE AGE RELATED WEAR. Our shipping prices are flat rate shipping prices. The prices reflect actual shipping cost plus a small packaging and handling fee to cover overhead costs.
