1872 Book, Hardcover, 'Practical Grammer', Rare, HTF!

 A generous beneficiary donated this book to the nonprofit organization for which I work. It is a hard cover book measuring 7" high and 4 1/2" wide, black binding - leather? - with dark green front and back. It is entitled "Practical Grammar of the English Language; with Analysis of Sentences. By Rev. Peter Bullions, D.D., late professor of Languages in the Albany Academy, and author of the series of Grammars, Greek, Latin, and English, On the Same Plan, Etc." This is a revised edition. The first page has been torn out. That page is the only one missing from the book. The book is further identified as "New York: Sheldon & Co., No. 677 Broadway and 214 and 216 Mercer Street Under Grand Central Hotel. 1872."  According to the preface, the first issue of this book was published a quarter-century prior to this 1872 publication. The pages are faded, edges folded over and in some cases - but not many - torn. There is script writing as shown in the photos on the front and back pages, although illegible. A third of the binding has been torn away. This is, in effect, a very studious, to form grammar book including parsing, participles, syntax, adverbs, etc. indicative of the date revised. In total, the book is 336 pages.
