Vintage Tonka Fire/Ladder Truck - Late 50's/Early 60's

They don't make toys like this anymore! Up for auction is a late 1950's/early 1960's Tonka Aerial Ladder Fire Truck. This toy is BIG!

I would say this toy, when one must remember is 50 years old is in extremely good condition (view photos & make your own decsion). There are obivously scratches over the toy however no major dents. The truck is missing the red light atop the roof, the fender mounted sire & a head light. The plastic wind shield however is still in the truck with no cracks/breaks. The hydraulic lifting ladder still works! Remove the 'Lock Down' rear driver seat & the ladder rises. Turn the little wheel & the ladder can also be extended. The string is even original. There is also an additional ladder with the trailer as well as two small fire extinguishers attached to the back of the trailer. The wheels on this toy are all still operational, in great shape & there are no problems/bends with the axles. From a smoke free home, this great toy will definitely give joy to any young child.
