This is an electric table lamp. It has a copper or brass stem sitting on a marble base. The socket fits somewhat loosely in the base and may have to be replaced. The glass chimney looks like new and fits perfectly. I have inserted a vintage 25 watt GE light bulb, which I must confess does not work, but it sure looks nice. The copper/brass shows aging primarily up near the light switch area. Thanks for looking and good luck.
