This is a vintage hardcover book by Dorothy Brightbill - Quilting as a Hobby, dated 1963.

96 pgs., some color photos, some corners have been folded, but overall very good condition.

Besides the quickly-made novelty items described (which make wonderful stocking-stuffers at Christmas time), the book includes an unusual collection of patterns and instructions for making bed quilts and coverlets, tells how "quickie quilts" are made, and gives numerous suggestions for adapting and using old-time patterns in today's modern decorating schemes.
