Nude Women Fencers.

The photos don't really do them justice as the reflection of the photographer can be seen in each.

The title is : AN AFFAIR OF HONOR

In the 1870's A photogravure was taken from the original painting by Emile Bayard.

A few years ago someone dismantled an old art book full of the "photogravures" to sell them individually.

I paid a fair amount for this one. I am not selling that.  This auction is for a nice 8" x 10" picture on parchment paper in a nice looking 11" x 14" frame.

NOTE: this is not the original, it is a modern copy on parchment paper.
