Item specifics
Condition: UsedDexterity: Right-handed
Brand: Ben PearsonType: Recurve Bow

You are bidding on what I believe is an old Ben Pearson recurve bow, right handed.. A 64 " string is a little long so I am saying 63" and I will be making a new 63" flemish string for it. The stamping on the side is partially gone because of the custom compass installed. You can make out the letters "son" and 65 so I think it could be a Pearson and it pulls like 65#. I had the bow strung for a week and pulled it here and there and it seems solid. However, like all old bows, any thing can happen to the best of them so I wouldn't pull past 24-26" till you shoot it in. It is a neat looking bow with nice narrow tips that favor the old horn tips. There are no cracks and the limbs are straight. I filled a small hole (picture 6) with same color glass from some scraps I had and it looks good. It has an arrow rest and strike plate. The riser looks like Maple and Walnut. The bow would also look nice with a leather grip like the old days. Nice collection piece.

Good luck on bidding on this item and if you win any other of my auctions I will be glad to combine shipping.

I will ship this item for $15 including insurance to the lower 48 and actual cost to Alaska and Hawaii.  I will consider some International buyers and and there will be a handling charge plus International rates. I don’t believe in using shipping costs as a source of revenue. I will accept  PAYPAL. I normally ship with in two days of receipt of payment unless I am traveling then I will email the buyer.

FEEDBACK: Feedback is very important to all ebayers and I am proud of my record.  I encourage all of you to read my feedback record especially my one negative comment and response. I look forward to a great selling experience with you and  exchanging  positive comments.

On Oct-22-09 at 11:55:55 PDT, seller added the following information:

I received an email from a prospective buyer inquiring about the picture of the Bear logo asking if those were stress cracks. There are no stress cracks. When I say there are no dents or scratches worth talking about I will clarify by saying there are minor handling scratches and pin-head chips mostly on the belly. I hope that helps in describing this bow.
