CHANEL Rare 3pc COCO Jacket Suit VINTAGE HAUTE COUTURE

This is an auction for a very rare, most amazing, beautiful vintage Chanel HAUTE COUTURE label (real haute couture -- not from the ready-to-wear line) 3-piece suit from the 1960's!  This exquisite Chanel haute couture suit is very much like the one Ms. Coco herself favored and wore herself -- see photos.  The style, fabric, workmanship -- truly special and amazing.  The fabric is an incredible finely textured gold that is sophisticated and subtle with gold lurex woven with white/cream.  When you look very closely, it actually looks like a very fine caviar pattern.  All 3 pieces are fully lined with the jacket in black satin while the top and skirt are lined in a lighter weight cream silk.  The style is so lovely and so very iconic Coco Chanel!  The jacket is the classic Coco style -- without closure or buttons with bracelet length sleeves.  The entire jacket is trimmed with black satin passementerie surrounding a gold/brass metallic netting; the four pockets and sleeves are also trimmed.  The cut is a boxier, shorter line with incredible seams to ensure a perfectly flattering fit.  There is a weight chain that lines the inside hem.  The matching top is a sexy fitted style with an upside down V-paneled front.  The waist is softly nipped and flared hem has double side slits on each side.  The matching skirt is slim pencil shaped with wonderful panel work that follows the lines of the top.  It closes in the back with hidden, on-seam zippers off-center on each side (another classic Chanel haute couture signature).  This lovely Chanel Haute Couture suit is not only super collectible it's so very versatile and wearable -- the top and skirt work as a dress, the jacket and skirt would also look amazing with a black lace top dressed up or black T-neck sweater for a more casual look, or top & jacket as a super twinset -- and each piece will mix and match with so many other pieces in your closet.  While this suit can't provide the whole experience of having a Chanel suit made specifically for YOU, by the best artisans in the biz, you will nevertheless appreciate the workmanship, quality, and elegant style of real haute couture at a cost that is less than what you would pay for ready-to-wear Chanel suit.  The cost of Chanel Haute Couture suits START at $25K and one that is so special like this gem would go far far higher.  While this Chanel Couture suit is not sized, it is similar/equivalent to a Chanel ready-to-wear 36 or 38 with the following measurements taken flat/unstretched, outside of garment:  JACKET -- 21 1/2" length, 16 1/2" across shoulder seams, 19 1/2" sleeves, 42" across -- bust/underarm through hem; TOP -- 19" length, 32" bust/underarm, 30" waist; SKIRT -- 19" length, 25" waist, 36" hips.  The suit was gently worn and is in very good condition overall with some minor flaws:   1/8" faint yellow (darker than rest of fabric) spot on left sleeve by elbow, 3 1/2" area in the metallic netting trim on the right sleeve cuff that is frayed - the area that hits the side of jacket/not the side that 'shows', 3/4" x 1/8" left sleeve near the shoulder next to seam where the gold lurex is a bit frayed, the skirt has 2 faint yellow (darker than rest of fabric) 2" x 1/8" and 1" x 1 1/8" on the front bottom near hem, the top lining was repaired underarms.  Please note that these flaws are not obvious by any means nor readily noticeable -- and only upon very, very close inspection will you see them.  Don't miss this opportunity to get a real Chanel Haute Couture 3-piece Suit -- a rare vintage beauty at a tiny fraction of what you would pay today.  A collectible gem that you will wear and wear!  Please ask any/all questions as this is a final sale - I do not accept returns. *** PLEASE NOTE *** NO BIDDERS WITH 0 FEEDBACK *** I DO NOT ACCEPT PAYMENT GREATER THAN THE TRANSACTION AMOUNT WITH THE REQUEST TO WIRE TRANSFER THE DIFFERENCE ***** THE WINNER MUST EMAIL WITHIN 2 DAYS AND PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN 7 DAYS OF CLOSE/END OF AUCTION. *** Thank you for looking & happy bidding! ***
