|
PLEASE VIEW ALL PICTURES BELOW This is an antique bathroom scale MADE IN THE USA by Landers Frary & Clark in New Britain, Connecticut. The scale is in excellent condition and still works too. The painted decoration and label are in very good condition with very minor wear. The top where you stand still has the original leather-look covering. Weighs up to 300 pounds and is accurate. It measures 8 1/2" by 8 1/2" by 10 1/2" wide and will weigh 22 pounds when packed. A very rare find for your collection. Would look great in a vintage bathroom. I would guess it dates to the 1920s.
MULTIPLE PURCHASES: I will gladly combine items for a savings on shipping! PAYMENT: Payment is requested within 7 days of the closing date of the auction. Although eBay requires that I can only solicit payments through Paypal, I can accept other forms of payment if requested by the buyer. INSURANCE: Insurance is included in the shipping cost for this item. SHIPPING: Winner pays shipping - refer to the shipping calculator in the auction for an estimate (the estimate already includes a small handling fee to cover insurance for your parcel). Also, feel free to email me for an estimate. I normally ship within 48 hours of payment receipt. Exceptions would be due to illness, emergencies, extra large items requiring a special shipping container, or if handling time is otherwise specified in the item description above. Personal checks and "E-checks" must clear prior to shipment. RETURNS: Please read the details of my return policy by clicking on the "Read Details" link under Return Policy near the top of the auction. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Any import duties, taxes or charges that may be applicable in your country are not included in the item price or shipping charges. Please check with your country's customs office to determine if any additional costs might apply prior to bidding/buying. Any such charges would be the buyer's responsibility. Also note that we cannot mark merchandise values below actual price or mark items as "gifts", as US and International government regulations prohibit this. Unfortunately, as of 9/22/09 ebay requires sellers to guarantee shipments against loss or breakage. The only way to do this is through insurance, which is only available through Priority Mail. Therefore, First Class International shipping can no longer be offered unless you send me an email specifically requesting this option and releasing me from liability for loss or damage.
