The condition of these books is very good. These books ARE NOT Ex-Library. Some of the books' ribbons have been trimmed or are frayed. One book (Mirror, Mirror on the Wall) does not have any ribbon. I have looked thru all the books and the following items should be noted:
A Journey to the New World has "waiting" written on the front cover in a green felt marker (not huge, but noticeable)
Across the Wide & Lonesome Prairie has an inscription on the inside cover: 12/25/99 Merry Christmas Mallory with love Grandma.
A Light in the Sand has a Used bookstore stamp on the 1st inside front page (before any writing). It has a small pic of unicorn and the stamped name of Unicorn One Used Books 8028 w. Grand River Brighton Mi 48114 810-227-9894
The Journal of Sean Sullivan has an inscription on inside cover which is similar to the previous Grandma inscription, except that this one is to Andrew.
A Light in the Storm has a teachers' (I presume) name on 1st page.
I thought My Soul Would Rise & Fly....I'm not sure this is a defect, but it has a sticker on the front of the cover, saying Peace Non Violent Social Change Brotherhood Honor Coretta Scott King Award. This looks like it might have been originally sold with this sticker on the book.
As I said overall, this is a very nice set of books, with just a little bit of wear and the above few items. Some of these titles are hard to find in any condition.
